Plasma Horizontal/Vertical Welding Technique
The plasma horizontal and vertical welding processes are derived from the conventional plasma arc welding process by changing the attitude and position of the welding torch. The horizontal welding is carried out parallel to the horizontal direction, while vertical welding is carried out out of the horizontal direction, including vertical downward welding and upward welding. In contrast to the flat position, the direction of the arc force and surface tension varies with the torch attitude, while the direction of gravity remains constant. This results in an increase in the difficulty of welding.
Characteristic
3-8mm stainless steel single-sided welding double-sided formation. This configuration exhibits reduced distortion and enhanced speed compared to the conventional position. It is primarily employed in the fabrication of thin-walled or large-diameter tanks. The application range encompasses large-diameter cylinders and stainless steel containers. The application location is plant pre-fabrication or field site.
