Sheet To Sheet Longitudinal Seam Welding |
The vehicle industry has experienced a period of rapid growth over the past years, particularly in the production of vans and tank vehicles designed for environmental applications. This large-scale plate-to-plate welding system is designed to meet the specific requirements of the aforementioned vehicles.
The most common method for welding low carbon steel with a wall thickness of 8 mm (0.3") and below is stick welding. However, a more advanced welding process is pulse MAG, which increases the quality of the seam and minimises any possible distortion. Furthermore, the process enables increased welding speeds and deposition. Automatic MAG welding is three to four times more efficient than manual welding.
